We have, on the unit right now, ....
not one....
not two....
not three...
not four...
but FIVE SCREAMERS TONIGHT.
There is not enough Haldol in the world right now. Or Dilaudid. Or Zofran. Or Phenegran.
And for me, there is not a martini clear or near enough.
F I V E.
We had one call the cops on us. Unfortunately, they did NOT come to take me away.

Sounds like my weekend. Is there something in the atmosphere? It's amazing how quickly you stop hearing, "Help! Help! Help!" or "Take it off! Take it off! Take it off!" after you've dashed in a half-dozen or so times to see that there is nothing at all wrong, isn't it?
My favorite is the eightysomething old man who just arrived last night who started having "emergencies" within moments of arriving:
"I need my Gaviscon! I can't sleep without it!"
Last I checked, Gaviscon was not a sleeper...thankfully, I was not in charge of meds for him.
Great site!
