Kumbaya sessions

I am in an endless purgatory, watching dvds or attending all-day sessions to orient me to each of the TWELVE hospitals my team supports.

JCAHO was just here. You can tell. Nothing but administrative stupidness ensues after they're here.

So this year, we have to learn how to respect patients at twelve different hospitals. Glossy overproduced hosptial PR department kumbaya.

The only difference I see is that the for-profit hospitals remind you that if you're mean to patients, they might not come back.

It's like freakin Groundhog Day .....with elevator music .....and warty old white guys talking about diversity in a voiceover as we watch a movie of them laughing with a black CNA or male nurse (of any race) or Hispanic lab tech. (Which I'm sure happens often.)

I'm not in hell, I'm in a neverending beige purgatory.
